Kid Knitting with Carolyn - $50
Wednesdays - November 1, 8 & 15, 4 - 5:30pm
Best for ages 9 and up.
This class takes all comers and helps them work independently to learn new knitting skills. Students work at their own pace on projects of their own choosing. (This class is also offered in  September and October.)


Learn to Knit: Beginner Hat with Kia - $40
Wednesdays - November 8 & 15,  6 - 8pm
No experience required! Let us get you started on your knitting journey. You will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and work in the round on both circular and double-pointed needles. And you’ll have a new hat just in time for winter!


Pick-A-Project with Steph - $40
Fridays - November 10 & 17 and Dec. 1, 6 - 8pm
Join Steph for three weeks of personalized instruction. Start something new or get help on a project midstream. In this class, everyone works on something different and we learn from each other.

Tech Tuesday: Understanding Lace Charts with Carolyn - $25
Tuesday November 14, 6 - 8pm
Do you avoid patterns with charts? Carolyn will demystify the language of hashmarks and circles and help you see how lace charts are merely a visualization of the knitting itself. We’ll talk about reading different types of charts, and standard methods of abbreviation in knitting patterns.


Christmas Stockingwith Carolyn - $60
Wednesdays - November 29, Dec.  6 & 13, 6 - 8pm
Choose from several beautiful stocking kits with well-written patterns that provide a great introduction to stranded knitting and short row heel techniques. These aran-weight treasures knit up in no time, and will be heirlooms for a lifetime. Prerequisite: For intermediate knitters who are comfortable knitting in the round.

Tech Tuesday: Basic Colorwork with Nancy - $25
Tuesday December 5, 6 - 8pm
Nancy will give you tips to make your color work pop and your tension even! Prerequisite: For advanced beginners who can cast on, knit and purl.

Fall 2017 Class Schedule

Below you'll find a list of remaining classes scheduled for this fall. Classes Highlighted in GREEN are for designed for beginners. PURPLE classes are great for all levels. Those highlighted in RED require some prerequisite knowledge, which is outlined in italics in the class description. On Tuesdays we're offering a series of one-night "Tech Tuesday" sessions to help expand your palette of skills and techniques.


As always, registration is first come, first served and paid registration ensures your spot in any class. Classes need at least two or three paid registrants by the first night to run, so bring your friends! To sign up for classes, give us a call at 307 733-5648 or stop by anytime!

Tech Tuesday: Finishing Workshop with Carolyn - $25
Tuesday October 10, 6 - 8pm
Many a beautiful knitter has experienced frustration trying to sew knitted pieces together. Learn a few basic techniques to make your seaming sing. We’ll also talk about decisions made before you knit your first stitch than can have a big impact on the finished product.

Crochet a Granny Square with Carolyn - $25
Wednesday October 11, 6 -  8pm
Come find out for yourself why granny squares are thoroughly addictive. Crochet squares in the round and take your craft to the next level! Prerequisite: Beginner Crochet class or equivalent experience.


Fair Isle Mittens with Steph - $40
Mondays - October 16 & 23, 6 - 8pm
Learn the art of beautiful two-stranded knitting and make yourself a cozy pair of mittens in the process. Prerequisite: For intermediate knitters who have worked in the round with double-pointed needles.


Baby Cardigan with Carolyn - $60
Tuesdays - October 17, 24 and Nov. 7*,  6 - 8pm
A baby sweater offers a great opportunity to learn basic sweater construction. This neck-down cardigan offers so many skills including raglan increases, picking up and knitting, basic buttonholes and more! Prerequisite: For advanced beginners and up who know how to cast on, knit and purl. *Note: there will be a one-week gap between classes two and three, due to Halloween.

Anatomy of a Sock with Erin - $40
Wednesdays - October 25 and Nov. 1, 6 - 8pm
Fear not the knitted footwear! Erin will have you knitting rings around basic sock construction. Prerequisite: Experience with double-pointed needles is recommended. Homework: Download the free Rose City Rollers pattern on Ravelry, and work the first 10 rows prior to the beginning of the first class.
